im so sure ive done this before this sounds so familiar
but i cant find it so here you go have funnnnnn

1. Tell us about your favorite writing project/universe that you've worked with and why.

I think the answer to this one is kinda obvious… I’ve been on the trilogy project for almost two years now and I hold everything related to that extremely dear and close to my heart. I just like everything about that, the main idea it wraps itself around with its inspirations and all that jazz, the characters now that they are finally developing to the better and just… All of it is just what I like. I can’t put my finger on it any better, it’s just the whole overall thing that I love.

2. How many characters do you have? Do you prefer males or females?

Too many. Last roll call was nothing short of +80 but I don’t think there has been that many new ones yet to get it over the side of 90? As for which ones I have more, let me very quickly count this…

Apparently that 87 total at this point (+ two I still need to establish on few things) out of which 49 are girls. Which means they are the majority. Somehow. Tho I think I can say I prefer my characters as guys as they are more fun to write but I love everyone dearly so I hate picking things like this.

3. How do you come up with names, for characters (and for places if you're writing about fictional places)?

I write very little fictional places with things, but they are usually either generator creations or twists and turns from real place names.

As for names for characters, they just… Come from somewhere. I get an idea for a name I wanna use cause I hear it somewhere or a variation of it and I twist it into the form I like and whatnot. they can come from like anywhere really. And some times I roll up few name generators and pick the best options I find and maybe even twist those up a little. That’s for example how Jace got his name. Also I like usual names with unusual spellings a lot so those happen as well.

4. Tell us about one of your first stories/characters!

…Are you sure? All my earliest things were terrible. I just recently went through some parts of my old Pokemon stories, my first long projects that I ever wrote, I admit being 11 at the time I think, and my god. They are still just as bad as they were before. They are just bad and everyone, EVERYONE in that story is a Sue. Also I never finished it, I got 10 out of 11 parts done (each part had like four to six chapters in it too) and then something happened and I lost interest. Guess I just didn’t want it to end, you know.

5. By age, who is your youngest character? Oldest? How about "youngest"?

By creation age, Dylan is the new kid of group, older must probably be Ella.

By actual age, I have no honest idea. I doubt I have many kids that are even in their 40s yet, so that’s like… No idea. Pretty sure Ocean and Lucia are pretty high up on that list tho, considering they are both from the older era of wrestling so eh. Apart from that, I have no idea.

And the youngest, well there are few kids in the group, like actual kids. I’m pretty sure Harmony (Nora’s girl) is the youngest one from the kids. Apart from that, Jami is not that old, shes just about 17 so shes probably the youngest one of the ‘grown ups’ I suppose.

“Youngest”? …I wanna say Alex so badly to this cause he never grows up. He just continues to be the whiny baby about everything. That spoiled little brat ugh. I’m sure there is a better answer to this but this’ll do for now.

6. Where are you most comfortable writing? At what time of day? Computer or good ol' pen and paper?

Fluff seems to be my forte. And sad things. Oh my god all the sad things. I’m a heartbreaker and I regret nothing. I just really love getting reactions and feelings out of people with the things I do, you know? I read this wrong, I thought it was 'what' and not 'where' oops. Either way, I'm most comfortable at home cause anywhere else it might be people peeking over my shoulders and whatnot to catch up with what I'm doing and that doesnt work for me at all. I need my peace with things.

As for time of the day, whatever works. Whenever I’m inspired to do stuff. Usually its in the middle of the night when I have time alone and whatnot so theres that. And yes, on the computer. I only write by hand if I’m making real important notes or planning stuff cause it makes me think clearer and remember stuff more easily.

7. Do you listen to music while you write? What kind? Are there any songs you like to relate/apply to your characters?

All the Poets of the Fall goes for my trilogy kids, no questions asked. And then the wrestling kids have the theme songs going on and whatnot. And all late 90s early 00s Finnish pop songs especially by all-girl groups go for Sebastian cause hes THAT guy they are all singing about.

I usually have something playing on the background, I have so many different kind of playlists I don’t even most of the time know which things to pick. Its pretty much depending on what kind of things I’m writing that what I want to listen to.

8. What's your favourite genre to write? To read?

Its not a genre, but fluff. XD I love writing fluff so much. Tho probably you can also add drama, angst, suspense and thriller into that writing list cause I enjoy so many things gosh.

And reading doesn’t really matter the genre, I read so many different things all over the place it doesn’t even matter to me anymore as long as the story is great.

9. How do you get ideas for your characters? Describe the process of creating them.

It usually starts with a single trait, either a personality trait or a color or an idea or a name I wanna use and then I start building up everything else around that, mostly by starting to look for a reference that would match the rest of the ideas for the looks that I have in my head. And then during the process of drawing them or whatever happens with them I build piece by piece together their biggest personality traits and whatnot that ends up making them what they end up being eventually.

As for where the ideas come from, just everywhere. Characters in movies, games and television shows, lyrics from songs, things in everyday life… Just stuff like that that gives out that first sparkle and then I just build up everything around it.

10. What are some really weird situations your characters have been in? Everything from serious canon scenes to meme questions counts!

Some of them definitely have like their whole lives being a weird situation but I need a better definition for ‘weird’ to answer to this, really. Cause to some what might be ‘weird’ might as well be canon (like maybe Alex with the angel boys cause yeah. That is weird) and just yeah. I don’t know. Nothing extremely weird comes to mind, not even in meme answers really. Or am I just not thinking this right? I don’t know I never purposely write humor cause I suck at it so all kinds of crack is just super weird to me. I just do crack ships with fluff and that’s not weird. I guess. I honestly don’t know.

11. Who is your favourite character to write? Least favourite?

Oh I think you know who my favorite is. Tho I have many who I definitely enjoy working with, Alex will always be my favorite. Hes such a precious little murderous asshole trying to sarcastically pull his way through life with his mental issues. What the fuck is wrong with him.

Tho I also really, REALLY love writing Christopher in the sequel. Like my god. You have NO idea how much I love Christopher and his selfish attitude with everything he brings to the table.

I hate picking least favorites, but keeping on the thought of the trilogy kids I have to go with Tanya. I still don’t exactly know what I’m doing or want to do with her so yeah its just kinda weird with her still. I’ll figure it out some day but for now its still so weird writing her cause I don’t know what her deal is and how she really functions.

12. In what story did you feel you did the best job of world building?

Like I said earlier, I build very little fictional places, mostly cause I’m really bad at it. I have however build few fictional towns and cities and whatnot so I think that counts as something?

I’m not really going to answer anything to this yet cause the one I’m really trying world building will be an up and coming project for the next Nano, so we’ll see how things work. I’m hoping that will be my best work with world building, being a postapocalyptic setting and everything so I can do basically whatever I want with it. I’m stoked but scared at the same time.

13. What's your favourite culture to write, fictional or not?

Confession time, I don’t think I’ve ever really put that much thought into cultural things and such with writing? I don’t know how to answer to this cause I seriously haven’t paid attention to it so I don’t know??

14. How do you map out locations, if needed? Do you have any to show us?

I used to have maps made for that Pokemon story mentioned earlier, I drew out a world map and different maps for each town etc., but that’s probably most I’ve done, really, especially since I don’t really do world building. I have few designs and layouts done for like apartments and houses down the road for various projects, and if I have to design a city I just keep locations in my head cause I have no idea how to draw maps with correct distances I want and whatnot. Its all safe in my head. Same with the trilogy stuff, I have few references saved up for layouts for the Harper mansion that I’ve been referencing when I write stuff, and a some kind of simple layout of Winnfield as well. I just keep this stuff better in my head since I cant draw it and there aren’t that many details to it, really.

15. Mid way question! Tell us about a writer you admire, whether professional or not!

I’m glad you said ‘admire’ instead of ‘like’ or ‘pick a favorite’ cause this is much easier to answer to be honest.

Okay so. To get this out of the way first, let me just say that I don’t read enough books to answer to the professional part of this one. I like few people that I suppose are considered professional authors, but I wouldn’t really say I read books from one person to say that I admire anyone. either that or I’m a douche whichever you prefer as an answer
//I'm going to take this time to actually name a person, cause I really love Nika Harper. Her writing is amazing as are her advices and everything, and shes hella adorable and nerdy. Shes just amazing.

OTHER PEOPLE WHOEVER. Like gosh there is so many of you guys. I’ve been within this community for a bit short of four and half years and gosh I’ve come across so many awesome writers. There are like seriously so many people who are just so awesome in so many ways. Who has amazing characters, who writes them amazingly, who comes up with the best ideas and stories, who does the best angst, who does the sweetest fluff, who deals the smut, all the precious poets who write all those amazing lines with all the feels and ah.

Fuck do I have to name someone? I admire like everyone for their own personal skills. Lets see how many names I can remember and throw around before I start feeling bad for forgetting someone!

BubblyPunkBitch, littleblackmariah, LilMissTrickster, Anarchy-01, kkilljoys, Neurotic-Idealist, RyanTaylorGirl and gosh I’m so sure there is so many other names too but gosh. Let me stop before I really do feel bad for forgetting someone. You are all amazing <3

16. Do you write romantic relationships? How do you do with those, and how "far" are you willing to go in your writing?

There are so many romantic relationships dude SHIPPING IS MY LIFE. But yeah, there is so many. I don’t know how I do with those really but I suppose I’m doing something right since people like that stuff and whatnot?? Which is weird since IRL romance is so not my forte at all but I still like writing and reading about it and I seem to be making it work somehow? I don’t know how this world works at all.

As for how far, been there and done that until the very end. You are just never going to see that PWP. You stick with the smut before that.

17. Favourite protagonist and why!

Uh. Do I have to name like a main protagonist? No? Then I wanna say Arden. Hes sarcastic and hilarious and I love him too much. What a man.

Also Jace. Theres just something about Jace that I love so much. Its probably the carefree attitude he’ll be dropping around a lot when I get into writing him more into the story

18. Favourite antagonist and why!

I wanna be obvious and answer Alex but I’m going to say Sebastian instead cause he goes to so much deeper than what people have seen so far and he is the ruthless kind of antagonist who works his way through things and gets his hands into whatever he wants no matter the cost. He will get shit done while being a total asshole and its just so great and probably way too much fun to write as well. And his hair is fabulous and his relationship with everybody in the story is just sooooooo funnnnnnn to write like gosh. Hes the total asshole that Alex never was. Besides I hardly see Alex really just as an antagonist anymore either, even tho he definitely is one, but… You know.

19. Favourite minor that decided to shove himself into the spotlight and why!

…OH. Well, this is Arden then. Ignore that protagonist answer with him, this is what I meant. He came out of fucking nowhere and stole the whole damn show for no real reason. And hes adorable and sarcastic while doing that. Hes just damn perfect.

20. What are your favourite character interactions to write?

Either something super sweet or something super sassy. And people who fight like an old married couple, like Haeler does. Just everything Haeler does is my favorite thing to be honest.

21. Do any of your characters have children? How well do you write them?

Iiiiiiii actually have only few times written kids. I think I totally suck with them tho. I know how children are and how they act but when you think these grownups as kids its really hard to write them as kids. I’ve done that few times and I’m not sure how that works out at all.

And yeah there are few kids running along. Very few tho, really. Nora has one, Lucia has one and Jerrold and Tanya have one. And I think that’s it. Wow.

22. How long does it usually take you to complete an entire story—from planning to writing to posting (if you post your work)?

Well Silence Kills took about… Eight months? From first character creations to first draft to editing to posting. I usually don’t finish my projects so it can take anywhere from half a year to eternity to get shit done, really.

23. How willing are you to kill your characters if the plot so demands it? What's the most interesting way you've killed someone?

Oh I’m VERY willing. It used to be a habit, at least someone dies during a story or its not my story at all. And usually it was my favorite character. I mean hell look what happened with Alex.
I don’t know about interesting things tho since everyone just kinda gets murdered cause heck yeah, but Alex has done some things. Which have more or less been either stabbing or slicing or whatnot, tho one got into extremes of having the victim getting herself slashed open and her blood being poured out to be used as a paint later on. Oh marvelous.
Oh also people have died as a result of being human test subjects to various cases. So that’s a thing.

24. Do any of your characters have pets? Tell us about them.

I don’t know? I haven’t really thought about it. I’m so sure I’ve mentioned at some point someone having like a dog or something but seriously nothing comes to mind.

25. Let's talk art! Do you draw your characters? Do others draw them? Pick one of your OCs and post your favourite picture of him!

I dooooooo. And others do occasionally toooooooo. There is a lot of art like everywhere in my gallery and faves and whatnot so yush. I don’t want to pick a favorite cause there is so much I love and aaaaaah every art piece with every single kid is amazing <3

26. Along similar lines, do appearances play a big role in your stories? Tell us about them, or if not, how you go about designing your characters.

Well the designing part is the same as it is with just basic creation of things so that’s up there somewhere I’m not going to repeat all of that again.
Appearances, in some cases, play bigger roles. Especially if it’s a thing that has foreshadowing for stuff or it just made to be there for people to notice and whatnot. This is especially true with the trilogy, with Alex’s different colored eyes that I’m totally adding to the rewrite as they weren’t there originally, Amber and her totally out of place look, the similarities between Viola and Tanya which means someone needs to get a little bit change in colors to match with this, and rest of these kind of things. So I’m trying, but its most of the time just whatever they happen to look like works.

27. Have you ever written a character with physical or mental disabilities? Describe them, and if there's nothing major to speak of, tell us a few smaller ones.

Well, Alex is insane which has been proved various times. And well Arden has a prosthetic leg if that counts for something. Apart from those two I’m not sure if there is anyone who is really holding up any disabilities, tho Sam might count with it since she suffers from rather severe social anxiety cause of things. Oh yeah and more for Arden, he had ADD as a kid. So that’s some things for now.

28. Final question! Tag someone! And tell us what you like about that person as a writer and/or about one of his/her characters!
This is my favorite part.
BubblyPunkBitch cause shes precious and I love her and everything she does. Its been my biggest pleasure in life to watch you grow as an artist in general, but especially as a writer. You are my biggest inspiration with everything I do, especially art-wise and I will love you forever for that. I love how inspirational you are and all the awesome ideas you always get and have no matter how sad things end up being and all your characters and precious and amazing. If I could I would claim them all and never do them the same justice as you do so might as well not.
littleblackmariah Kat! <3 Shes also super precious and all her characters are so divine and adorable and gosh they are always just such a pleasure to see around. And her descriptive writing style is also super great and I always love reading stuff from her with all the neat ideas yay!
LilMissTrickster I just love all the cute and fluffy things she does. They are always so cute and her characters are adorable and there are like so many precious ships and everything to go around for everyone to like!
